The Union Ministry of Education and NCERT have launched an online essay competition, which can be applied till August 14

Students from standard 9 to 12 can participate in this competition

Essays can be written on various topics under ‘Self-reliant India-Independent India’

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) in association with the Government of Mary (Mygov.in) and NCERT is organizing an essay competition on 'Independence India-Independent India' for school students on Independence Day. The competition will be held online, for which students have to submit their essays on August 14. 
Students from 9th to 12th standard can participate :
Students from 9th to 12th standard can participate in this competition. The theme of the competition 'Self-reliant India - Independent India' marks the emergence of a strong and cohesive nation committed to the welfare of all.

Words limit :
The essay for standard 9-10 should be within 500 word limit, while the essay for standard 11 and 12 should be within 800 word limit. Candidates can submit their essay in PDF file format only on the website www.mygov.in.
